Steve Jobs

I use i-phone and macbook. It is made simply and comfortable to use.
I really enjoy to use it. Even though I travel somewhere, I bring i-phone and take photo in front of the sightseeing spot more than digital camera.

It is 1 week since steve died. A great number of the people around the world tweet his death and thanked him with putting hush tag like #thankyousteve, #iSad and so on. Tweet about his death became the third most tweet so far. One engineer made picture of steve by using tweet with hush tag #thankyou steve.

I can't believe his death still now, because I respect him so much not only job he did but also a way of life. His speech in Stanford University touched my heart. He talked about three things: connecting dots, love and lost, and death. I have three favorite sentence each part.

you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

This sentence is in first part "connecting dots" in his speech. When he was 17 years old, he dropped out college and take calligraphy class. He didn't think calligraphy is helpful for his life. However, 10 years later, it all came back to him. It was designed into the first Macintosh.

You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.

This is in second part "love and lost" in his speech. After he fired from his company, he started a company NeXT(Pixar). Pixar created the first computer animation movie"Toy Story" He fell in love with woman who became his wife.  After that apple bought the Pixar and he returned his position. It was awful medicine for him, but these amazing things would not happened if he hadn't been fired.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

This is the most favorite sentence in the third part"death" in his speech. He had faced death once before he died, but he could be saved miraculously. He also thought Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is life`s change agent.

If you have never watched his speech, please check it out!
